Hire Facilities

Our Community Centre has a number of rooms available for hire.

Main Hall (Jim Gilbert Room):

A large multipurpose space with a stage area and upstairs mezzanine floor. The hall capacity is 300 guests with seating and tables provided. The hall has a large catering sized kitchen attached with a serving area into the hall. The Main Hall also offers a space for Performance Groups as it has a basic lighting rig, grand piano and stage wings. This hall is suitable for :

	Birthdays
	Performances
	Recitals
	Conferences
	Meetings
	Dance Groups
	Club Meetings and more.

Small Hall (Ivan Burgess Room):

This space is suitable for meetings and smaller functions.

With a capacity for 60 people theatre style or 60 people restaurant style this space works well with a small kitchen and serving area, chairs and tables. Ideal for any function that requires a smaller space.

The small hall also has mirrors, making it suitable for dance & exercise classes.

Armanasco House:

This historic house is set in Blockhouse Bay’s main street and is ideal for intimate functions of up to 25 people, private meetings, piano recitals and smaller functions.

Other Facilities:

The Community Centre also has two small meeting spaces, “The Lodge” and “The Green Room”. These are ideal for meetings of 2-20 people. The Centre also houses the local Scout Hall which are sometimes available for hire for smaller functions.
